Advanced Writing for TV (Online)
Starts July 16
8 sessions: Thursdays, July 16-September 3, 7-9pm
A continuation of Introduction to Writing for TV, this more advanced class is for students who have a script (comedy or drama) that they’d like to use as their spec “calling card” script to show to agents, etc. During the course the instructor and students will critique one another’s scripts. The story, characters, plot, etc., will be discussed and analyzed in-depth and specific notes will be given. By the end of the course your script should be ready to present to industry professionals.
NOTE: Participation in this online course requires that you use the free Zoom cloud-based video conferencing service. For optimal performance it is highly recommended that you install Zoom on your computer rather than running it from a web browser. A few days prior to the class start date we’ll e-mail you the link and ID code needed to access this class on Zoom. Your instructor will be provided a student roster to take attendance.
