Raise Your Voice follows the student journalists at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School navigating their school mass shooting as both survivors and journalists. The documentary explores youth free speech history in America and connects student free speech icon Mary Beth Tinker (Tinker v. Des Moines) with the Parkland student journalists, showing how their story is connected to a broader story about young voices and their power.

Maribeth Romslo is a director, cinematographer, and producer who believes that stories have the power to change the world. Her films have played at festivals around the world and she recently created an original documentary series for Reese Witherspoon’s new media platform, Hello Sunshine.
