Narration for Documentary
Starts August 25
2 sessions: Saturday–Sunday, August 25–26, 10 am–4 pm
Does your documentary need narration? Through a combination of historical examples and practical exercises, this course will give you a better perspective on how to convey information in your nonfiction film work. You’ll write, record, and add narration to preselected videos using Adobe Premiere, plus learn how to remove background noise with Adobe Audition. Students are encouraged to bring their own documentary project footage to use during the class. Whether you plan to record your own narration or hire someone for the task, the class will help you identify the best narration voice and style for your project. Students should know the basics of Adobe Premiere Pro CC prior to taking this course. No prior Audition experience is necessary. There is a lunch break each session.
