Thinking about applying for a McKnight Artist Fellowship, but find the application a little daunting? Need help understanding what an Artist Statement is? Want to ask questions of a previous recipient about their experience?

Join us at IFP MN (550 Vandalia Street, Saint Paul, MN 55114) this Sunday at 1:00 pm for a “How To Apply” session. Program administrator Eric Mueller will go over the application process: both its content and technical aspects. He will be joined by Noah Keesecker, Program Director/Artist Development at Springboard for the Arts to discuss artist statements. Former McKnight Artist Fellow D.A. Bullock will also be on hand to answer questions.

Once again, in 2016, IFP Minnesota will be administering the McKnight Fellowships for Media Artists on behalf of the McKnight Artist Fellowships Program. Four $25,000 fellowships will be awarded to mid-career Minnesota media artists who have demonstrated continued excellence in their work. There are a few important changes to the guidelines from last year. Deadline for applying is March 11th.
