How to Audition for Film or TV and Nail It

Starts February 10

2 sessions: Saturday–Sunday, February 10–11, 10 am–4 pm

This workshop provides actors of all experience levels with effective film/television audition techniques for any size/type of role. Through improvisation, paraphrasing, and ultimately living the text, participants learn techniques to create interesting characters for an audition and how to build a foundation to expand upon those early choices to create memorable characters once they’ve booked the job.

Instructor Steven Chester Prince provides you with tools for memorization and emotional preparation to bring a little something extra to an audition that will separate you from your competition and build the cornerstone of your acting moving forward. You’ll leave the workshop with the confidence to make bold choices in the audition process locally, and to also prepare yourself for the larger markets of Los Angeles and New York. There is a lunch break each session.

Tuition: $235 regular/$175 member/$130 low-income
