Acting for Directors

Starts April 10

6 sessions: Wednesdays, April 10-May 15, 7–9pm

This course provides both novice and experienced directors with insight to the acting craft and how actors approach productions. It includes casting, script analysis, rehearsals, improvisation, and scene study. Participants are expected to act in some basic scenes and work with guest actors. The end goal is that directors learn how to gain an actor’s trust and achieve compelling performances.
